Your vote matters. It’s easy to get mired in commercials, calls, texts, mail pieces, and all that in election season. People sometimes don’t believe their vote counts when compared to the other 163,554 voters in Jackson County. It counts and there are important issues on the ballot from the city you live in to the county you live in and to our great state of Oregon.

And there’s the Presidential election that matters as well.

In all our cities and towns, there are issues and council races. In our county, there are commissioner races and statewide there are ballot measures and races that are competitive. United Way has come out encouraging voters to vote no on Measure 118.

People ask me about who or what to vote for and I always share I don’t care what people vote for; I care that they vote! Here’ s the link to our Voters Pamphlet.

As former President Obama said,

“You wouldn’t let your grandparents select your playlist. Why would you let them pick your representative who’s going to determine your future?”  Although, my grandma had great taste in music!
